No backend
No login, no server. Records live in an encrypted SQLite database on your iPhone, gated by Face ID. If your phone is off, your family's data is unreachable.
A personal health app for one operator on one iPhone — managing self, kids, and aging parents without an account, without a cloud, without ads.
Why on-device
Most consumer health apps push your data through transcription vendors, foundation-model providers, and behavioral advertising stacks. prajna doesn't. There is no backend, no account, and nothing leaves the phone you read this on.
No login, no server. Records live in an encrypted SQLite database on your iPhone, gated by Face ID. If your phone is off, your family's data is unreachable.
Visit recordings are transcribed locally with WhisperKit. The audio never leaves the device, and the transcript is yours alone — no vendor seat to revoke.
The only outbound call is a redacted question to the Claude API when you tap a finding to ask about it. Identifiers are stripped client-side before the request is made.
Keep mom or a sibling in the loop with pre-visit briefs and post-visit recaps sent via iMessage or Mail. No second-user app to install. No data round-trip through a platform.
